So, our old "new" couch was great: Large, comfortable, stain-resistant, semi-stylish, and reasonably priced, so (of course) it was broken when we got it. The legs fell off everytime we moved it. So we sat on our legless couch for a month while a new one was on order, and when I finally got tired of waiting I went in and and explained my story and was told to wait one more week. So I did, and after another week I went back in and asked for a refund, at which time I found out that no replacement couch was ever ordered. Nice.
So last Saturday we went up to Salt Lake to Civilizzation and we bought an eq3 couch (in "carrot orange") which we are very excited about (and which wont arrive for at least a month, of course). Luckily we got a nice big soft area rug for our living room, since that is what we will have for seating for the next 4-6 weeks.
