I Fought the Clog (Part 2)

So, our sink was clogged again (for an entire week). And after two very serious attempts to clear it we gave up and got a plumber.

The plumber came in and tried to clear the drain and said that there was something solid in the pipe which he was going to have to go in and cut out manually. When he emerged from under the house he said that a smaller diameter pipe was glued crossways in our sink drain pipe at a place where it interesected with another drain. He said he had never seen anything like it before and it could only be described as "sabotage." Sweet!

I choose to picture the saboteur looking exactly like Firefly from COBRA.

Wow! Sabotage! (I still can't get into the message thing for your blog. I need a new name or a new password and I already have too many.) Steven and I have several scenarios all figured out: 1) a disgruntled plumber did it during construction to get even with his boss man (this makes no sense). 2) A plumber did it on a house-call to guarantee a good customer. I hope peace has been restored to your home, despite the inconvenience of having no sink. Did you wash dishes in the bath tub? That's what we used to do in such situations.

We are betting it was option number two. Bad bad plumber trying to guarantee a customer. Crazy
